Thanks for the responses so far -
Polyodontes maxillosus is the subject of the favourite "fished" polychaete
stories so far. And the French and Spanish anglers are the experts! One
wonders whether they actually keep the pharynx when it (often) detaches
from the rest of the body, and what they do with it (and what the worm
does without one!). I'll be checking my paella and bouillabaise closely
next time I am in that part of the world!! best regards, Chris
