Dear Maroko,
There doesn't seem to be a lot of literature out there on this topic - you can
fill us in when you have found more of it.
The following references came up when I searched Biosis (1969-2003) for
"annelid* and neoblast*". I'm including the older references in case they
are not mentioned in the paper by Bilello & Potswald 1974. Offhand it looks
like much of the current work is being done in Japan, but there were only 6
hits; the 4 on Zool. Record and Medline were repeats of these:
Sato-K {a}; Shibata-N {a}; Orii-H {a}; Agata-K {a}; Watanabe-K {a}. 1998.A
nanos homologue in the planarian, Dugesia japonica. - Zoological-Science-
Tokyo.
Dec., 1998; 15 (SUPPL.): 71. Sixty-Ninth Annual Meeting of the Zoological
Society of Japan, Hiroshima, Japan, September 26-28, 1998
Sogabe-Takashi {a}; Tochinai-Shin {a}. 2000. Isolation of neoblasts in an
Japanese white worm, Enchytraeus japonensis. - Zoological-Science-Tokyo.
[print] December, 2000; 17 (Supplement): 84.
Seventy-First Annual Meeting of the Zoological Society of Japan, Yamagata,
Japan, September 21-23, 2000
Salo-Emili; Baguna-Jaume {a}. 2002. Regeneration in planarians and other
worms: New findings, new tools, and new perspectives. -
Journal-of-Experimental-Zoology. [print] May 1, 2002; 292 (6): 528-539
There may be a full text (pdf file) option for this one
Bouche-Marie-Laure; Arnoult-Fabrice {a}; Vernet-Guy. 2003. Caudal
regeneration in Tubifex tubifex (Oligochaeta, Tubificidae) following copper
exposure. - Invertebrate-Biology. [print] 2003; 122 (1): 42-51.
Stephan-Dubois-F {A}. 1981. Regenerative processes after anterior amputation
in
the annelid Tubifex-tubifex. - Archives-de-Zoologie-Experimentale-et-Generale.
1981 (Recd. 1983); 122 (3): 151-172
Potswald-H-E. 1969. Cytological observations on the so-called neoblasts in the
serpulid Spirorbis. - Journal-of-Morphology. 1969; 128 (2): 241-259
Three older ones from Ward & Fauchald (1997) Polychaete Bibliography (online
version - see link from Annelida Resources):
Faulkner, G. H. 1930. The anatomy and the histology of bud-formation in the
serpulid Filograna implexa, together with some cytological observations on the
nuclei of the neoblasts. - Journal of the Linnean Society of London 37 ():
109-190, 33 figures
Jyssum, S. Y.1957. Investigations of the neoblasts and oogenesis in the
serpulid, Pomatoceros triqueter L. - Nyt Magasin for Zoologi 5 (): 5-10.
Potswald, H. E.1972. The relationships of early oocytes to putative
neoblasts in the serpulid Spirorbis borealis. - Journal of Morphology 137
(): 215-227
W&F has 9 references to Potswald, but not the one with Bilello!
Try also searching on www.google.com with the search string above and some of
the journals dealing with development.
Good luck with your work.

Subject: Annelid neoblasts
Dear All,
Could you tell me if you know any publication on the annelid neoblasts
newer than the below,
Bilello and Potwald (1974) A cytological and quantitative study of
neoblasts in the naid Ophidonais serpentina (oligochaeta). Wilhelm Roux'
Archiv 174, 234-249,
which is cited in the book "The Ultrastructure of the Oligochaeta" by
Jamieson (1981)?
Any information will be greatly appreciated.
Many thanks in advance,
