The "real" glowworms

Dear Annelidans,

lurking on this groups since I started with my diploma thesis in 2001. I
would like to ask my first question here today. I work in the lab of Prof.
Fischer in Mainz, Germany and have met some of you at the Osnabrück
Polychaete Convention last year.

I am working on the bioluminescence (patterns, function, behavior, fine
structure) of Eusyllis blomstrandi and probably other luminescent syllids later
on for my PH.D. Thesis. Since I am not working on systematic issues of
syllids I am interested in any paper which describes bioluminescence in any
other polychaete species, with a special focus on bioluminescent syllids.

So if you ever get any kind of lists or only sidecomments on bioluminescent
or probably bioluminescent polychaete species, I would be very glad if you
could sent me the citation.

I think it is impossible to search any polychaete species description and
updates fulltext for bioluminescence, therefore I am looking forward to hear
from you about all those papers which mention bioluminescence for any
polychaete species, but which is not mentioned in the abstracts or keywords.

Actually I am searching for all that papers which can't be found through
active literature research, but only by accident.

Thank you for your consideration.

best regards

Sven Zörner
