Dear Romulo,
Along the Italian coast there are a few, but relevant, examples of polychaete
with a changed morphology due to living in "peculiar" habitats such as
harbors or bracking lagoon. All of these examples and papers are from studies
performed by Prof. Giuseppe Cognetti, and you should ask to his collaborator
(since Prof. Cognetti recently retired) Prof. Alberto Castelli
(castelli at discat.unipi.it) to receive them.
