California Association of Marine Invertebrate Taxonomists (SCAMIT) taxonomic
checklist available for download at:
http://www.scamit.org/edition_four_information.htm There is some overlap with
the northeast Pacific fauna.

benthic fauna of the Santa Maria Basin and the western Santa Barbara Channel.
