Treadwell's species:
Treadwell's descriptions and illustrations are generally so bad that
it would be difficult to recognize the species in question, unless
you can re-examine his type material (what I did in case of
serpulids).
Well, generally just a name and we cannot know what is behind.
So I wonder how somebody should have been able to recognize a
Treadwell species in the Black or Azov Sea.
