One of my students needs to measure the caloric content of adult tissue
and eggs. He wants to use a bomb calorimeter, but has been unable to
find an appropriate instrument - something like a Parr semi-micro
calorimeter. Does anybody know of either (1) a company or contract lab
that does these analyses or (2) alternative methods of measuring caloric
content that don't require such expensive instruments? Thanks in
advance for any leads.
