Dear colleagues
Are you aware of any paper describing the diagnostic characters of
Diopatra madeirensis? I am working on polychaete material from northern
Portugal and I have found one specimen that does not quite fit the
description of D. neapolitana if I follow Day's description
(pseudocompound setae minutely bidentate). Since D. madeirensis is cited
on MarBEF site I thought it might be possible that my specimen
correspond to that species.
