Hello,

I’m putting together a guide to British cirratulids and would be interested
to hear more about what you have in Spain. I apologise for the delay in
answering; I waited to see if any other replies would be posted.

I’d be very grateful for national lists of cirratulids for comparison (from
any workers), especially comparisons between literature ‘check lists’ and
what sample analysers are actually recording.

Monticellina are not yet resolved. Currently, north European examples are
usually called M. dorsobranchialis, while two others M. tesselata and M.
heterochaeta are listed by ERMS for Europe as a whole. I don’t think there
are reliable records of any other Monticellina for Europe, but it would be
interesting to see what you have found.
