Dear ANNELIDA list members,

This message is of interest only to those who chose the digest option
when they subscribed to ANNELIDA.

Digests will no longer be an option. Sorry about that if you strongly
prefer digests. ANNELIDA is a very low traffic list and digests sent out
daily are just not necessary. They hinder communication when you reply
to the list because they don't have a subject line that is meaningful
and also it's difficult to reply privately to individuals.

I think the best way to deal with mail from any (busy) list these days
is use your mail program filtering options (Tools > Message Filters (or
it might be a right click option if you click on the 'to' address of the
message)) to filter the message automatically into a named folder
('annelida incoming' (or whatever)). Then it doesn't wait in your Inbox
and shouldn't disturb you. But I don't think ANNELIDA emails will ever
disturb you anyway! If you read your ANNELIDA mail via webmail then
there might not be a filtering option, but I don't know why using a
digest for webmail would be useful anyway.

See how you like your new undigested Annelida.

Best wishes,

Geoff
