Dear all,

As you know, the "Fédération Française des Sociétés de Sciences
Naturelles" is the publisher of the series "Faune de France", which
started in 1921 and includes many classical works as, in our case,
the famous "Polychètes Errantes" and "Polychètes Sédentaires" by
Pierre Fauvel.

The FFSSN has decided to make available online the out of print
volumes which are not supposed to be republished again. Besides
Fauvel's works there are many more volumes already available, both in
marine and as well as in terrestrial groups, which can be of interest
for you or for somebody of your knowledge.

The volumes are available as pdfs associated to an OCR, which enables
to perform searches through the whole volume by using key words.

You can find these works at:

http://www.faunedefrance.org/

and then browse around to know something more about the FFSSN and its
actual work and publishing, and then click at "Bibliothèque Virtuelle
Numérique" to have access to the pdfs and to the conditions of usage
of theses pdfs, which are quite fair
(http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-sa/2.0/fr/deed.en),

Or you can access them directly at:

http://www.faunedefrance.org/BibliothequeVirtuelleNumerique

I will not be in Maine for the next IPC, so I wish you all a very
pleasant Conference, as well as lots of success for the organizers.

All the best,

Joao Gil
