FYI.  Update news release on the Lyttelton arrival of the alien Sabella.

"We shall fight them on the beaches" ?  No, the government agency seems disinclined to intervene.
A pity. They are fairly conspicuous, and the inner shipping harbour isn't that big and is semi-enclosed. 
But it would cost a fair bit, with no guarantees.
