[Annelida] Siboga Exp. Hemilepidia (Polynoe) versluysi

Dear all,

Thanks for enlightening me -during the nightly 
hours in the Netherlands- on the above mentioned 
topic. Since there is a more general aspect to 
this loan question, that of the depository of the 
important Siboga collections, I am replying to 
our discussion group as well.

Yes, the Siboga material, not only polychaetes, 
still is to be found in the Zoological Museum 
Amsterdam, nowadays part of the Netherlands 
Centre for Biodiversity Naturalis, in Leiden, 
though our Amsterdam collections still have not 
been moved to Leiden.

The collection manager responsible for the worms 
(and echinoderms) is Mrs. Joke Bleeker, 
j.bleeker from uva.nl.




Temir, I lifted the mentioned samples from our 
collections and placed them on the desk of Joke, 
for further action. Unfortunately Joke is not 
present at the moment, but probably next week (I 
don't have access to her diary).
