I am a PhD student from University of Jyväskylä, Finland. I am studying a
spionid polychaete, Pygospio elegans. An important part of my research is
a phylogeoraphy study of this species. To get good coverage, I would still
need some more Pygospio samples from central or western Baltic sea
(Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland and/or Germany) or from the east coast
of Sweden or the island of Gotland. Pygospio elegans can be found both in
estuarine habitats and also marine conditions (sandy sediments and mud
flats).

Are you or someone you know working in these areas and collecting their
samples this spring/summer? I would be very happy to get in touch with and
perhaps coordinate some collecting efforts!

Best wishes,
--
