Hi all,
Can anyone point me to a discussion of the suppression of the name Ophelina Griffith 1833 (first appears in an edition of Cuvier's Animal Kingdom) versus the homonym Ophelina Oersted 1843, who described the type species Ophelina acuminata. Ophelina Griffith appears to have been introduced in relation to Ophelia Savigny, & is perhaps simply a lapsus?
Thanks,
Geoff
