Greetings earthlings,
A reminder that all Royal Society UK Journals are open access this month.
http://royalsocietypublishing.org/journals
"To celebrate a summer of Royal Society science festivities, all our journal content is free to access until 30 July 2010"
There was a previous all free period in March 2009, and before that to the 1665-2000 archive only in November 2007.
More on their access policy here: http://royalsocietypublishing.org/site/authors/EXiS.xhtml
(Down the bottom of that you'll see that the author open access fee is a fixed USD $2380 per article. Whereas Zootaxa is USD $20/page).
Anyway, I spotted this recent Conway Morris article to check out:
Conway Morris, S. 2010: Evolution: like any other science it is predictable. Philosophical Transactions of the Royal Society B: Biological Sciences 365(1537): 133-145. http://dx.doi.org/10.1098/rstb.2009.0154
Cheers,
Geoff
