thank you for your quick replies. I had found the snail Alia carinata as well. I also suspect that this is the source of confusion. By the way this has some tradition in the genus Aedicira. The subgenus Acmira was originally named Acesta by Strelzov in 1973. The name had already been occupied by a mollusk genus and was renamed by Hartley in 1981.
