Not my field, but, if you haven't already done so, have a look at Rob Blakemore's (2005) "Whither Octochaetidae ..." or contact him directly. Travoscolides may be a synonym of Megascolides McCoy, 1878, he said then. Alternatively, http://earthworm.uw.hu/index.php, still has Travoscolides species recombined from Megascolides ranked as valid. Either way Megascolecidae looks to be a reasonably safe placement.

Subject: [Annelida] position of Travoscolides
Hi,
The Oligochaete genus, Travoscolides is now included in the family, Megascolecidae. Is there any difference of opinion regarding its position in the family Megascolecidae? Sometime back this genus was reckoned as part of the family, Octochaetidae. Can we confirm it now as a genus under Megascolecidae?
