Carl Zimmer is an award-winning popular science writer, speaker, and blogger who has covered a range of topics from evolution to tattoos! He is the author of 13 books and numerous articles for the New York Times and magazines such as Scientific American and National Geographic.
Technical sessions continue to take shape
We are organizing sessions that will cover topics such as digitization and mobilization of collections-related information, 3-D imaging, frozen-tissue collections, archives and special collections, collaborative efforts, and preventative conservation to name a few.
Many of our sessions are being co-sponsored or co-organized with other organizations and societies including the American Institute for Conservation of Historic and Artistic Works, Yale Office of Digital Assets and Infrastructure, Yale Institute for the Preservation of Cultural Heritage, the National Science Foundation sponsored program iDigBio, the Council for Library and Information Resources, and others.
DemoCamp abstract submission is open
