The AECOM Marine & Coastal Center in Woods Hole, MA is seeking qualified
applicants for a senior staff position to work with a skilled team in a
fast-paced and diverse work environment. The successful applicant will be
expected to develop and manage marine-related projects for government and
commercial clients.
*Qualifications:*
=B7 A PhD in a marine-related discipline is preferred
=B7 At least 15 years experience post-doctoral
=B7 A strong history of successful proposal writing and project management =
is
expected
=B7 Background in developing environmental baseline data and applying it to
environmental assessments used to support the permitting process or
equivalent
=B7 A technical background in benthic ecology, marine food chains, and
biodiversity is preferred
=B7 Experience with offshore energy development including oil and gas and
alternative sources would be important together with a recent list of
successful projects and satisfied clientele
=B7 Although not required, international experience would be an important
consideration to incorporate the candidate=92s skills into AECOM=92s global
business
=B7 The successful applicant will have excellent verbal and written
communication skills; publications in the peer-reviewed literature will
serve to demonstrate scientific and technical writing skills
=B7 The individual must be safety oriented and at a minimum that the OSHA
40=97hour and 8-Hr Supervisor Training. Finally, the successful candidate
needs to demonstrate a versatile background and the ability to respond to
interdisciplinary opportunities.
