Dear colleagues,

There is a new research assistant (his name is Ivan) in the Center for
Marine Research of the Rudjer Boskovic Institute in Rovinj (Croatia)
that will start to work on polychaetes. Since he doesn't have
previouse experience on the group, he would need a training in the
polychaete determination. Please, let me know if there is somebody
among you, interested to have Ivan at his/her lab for a time of
maximum one month (less would be great as well) and teach him to
determine polychaetes (he
'll mostly be working on soft bottoms). As a compensation, during that
time Ivan could help you in some part of your research, like sampling
or separation of macrobenthic groups from the samples (he is very
skilled in that). If you are interested to work on some polychaete
specimens from the Adriatic sea, maybe that could be a mode for
compensation-collaboration (Ivan could go to sample). Any other
proposal on collaboration is welcomed!

If on the other hand you know for some polychaete course/training that
will be held in the near future, I would appreciate if you could send
me the info as well.

Thank you very much for your help!

I wish you and your families all the best in 2015.

Greetings, Barbara
