I am very saddened to hear the news of Nechama's passing away. She was a
wonderful courageous fine person. During the too brief years that I got to
know her at the Collections, I was constantly amazed by her vitality and
intellectual energy and the love the projected of her science and her
research. She was always full of ideas and many a day I heard her calling
me into her to room with something new to show or some issue to discuss.
She was someone whose commitment you could always trust and value and
totally disinterested in the sense that she was always interested in people
and issues and research and ideas and not in promoting herself. She will be
deeply missed by all of us at the Collections. May her name be blessed.
