I am saddened by this news of Nechama. I got to know her at the
International Polychaete Conferences over the years, where she was always
warm and friendly company. My favourite memory of her is strolling with
her around the Piazza Santuario in Leuca, Italy on a bright day in 2010. As
ever, she was deeply thoughtful, about polychaetes and about life, and as
always, I enjoyed our conversations. She will be greatly missed.
