Please find attached details of the forthcoming NMBAQC Scheme Benthic
Invertebrate Taxonomic Workshop. The target taxonomic groups and session
leaders are as follows:
Sabellidae (Polychaeta) - Prof Adriana Giangrande, Lecce University, Italy
Interstitial Opisthobranchia (Gastropoda) - Dr Bastian Brenzinger, Bavarian
State Collection of Zoology, Munich, Germany
Expressions of interest are require asap to secure provisional spaces on
this training course for experienced benthic taxonomists. These workshops
have been running since 1996, bringing together benthic taxonomists from
across Europe to focus upon improving marine biological data consistency and
resolving issues highlighted by the NMBAQC Scheme's intercalibration and
audit exercises.
