Dears all and Dear Len, I am still shocked about the new of Kristian
loss, and toke me a while to realize and react....
I joint my feelings with all my previous esteemed colleagues and
friends of the polychaete world...and I wish to add that for me
Kristian as been very influential and important, a true mentor and an
example not only for polychaetes or zoology, but for life...

I am now overwhelmed by feeelings, good memories of our many and all
very special and wanderful meeting occasions,
I feel I had a real privilege to have knowing him and had the occasion
to interact, exchange of jokes and humor as well as ideas and
scientific opinions for so long....
these very precious moments will stay forever with me...I'll miss most
of all his humor and apparent icnoclastic attitude, but very profound
respect and humility!
I think that the polychaete community should do something to honor
such a great scientist, man and free spirit,

although with a heavy heart, I send my best regards and wishes to all
and a big hug to Len,

Maria Cristina Gambi
