We all can check if our messages have been distributed at the Annelida archive, the address of which, via the list-info page, has been in the signature since the year dot (well 1995 ish).
So there is no need for duplicate messages. If you don't receive your own message it is not the fault of Annelida list.
Repeat offenders will be moderated. The list is unmoderated, except that non-list members get moderated for excellent reasons (spam).
Thus if your address has changed but you haven't noticed this (unfortunately modern mailers tend to hide true addresses), your message will be held for moderation.
The remedy is to update your address at: http://iubio.bio.indiana.edu/biomail/listinfo/annelida
I can assist if you want old addresses deleted.
