Hi Angela,
I concur with Michael. I have examined paraonids from around the world and the images of your specimen looks very similar to Aricidea (Aricidea) catherinae Laubier 1967, which is reportedly cosmopolitan in its distribution. The modified neurochaete look correct in the photo and the branchial distribution and elongation in posterior segments also looks correct. Is the median antenna slightly inflated near the base then tapering and extending to set 1-2?
You should check for the papillary protuberances noted by Streltzoz (1973) for Aricidea (Acmira) finitima. I have seen them on A. (Acmira) catherinae before, but only on larger mature specimens. Kristian and I noted what appeared to be vascular coils in the papillary protuberances (unreported) on type specimens of Aricidea philbinae Brown 1976 in the Smithsonian. That suggested to us that these papillary protuberances perhaps function as accessory branchiae and may only be developed in larger specimens or in habitats with low DO.

Hi Angela,
Aricidea suecica has mucronate neurochaetae. This means that the chaetae continue into a very fine arista. In the taxonomy according to Strelzov (1973) mucronate chaetae are characteristic for species of the subgenus Allia.
In the picture you attached it looks more like the arista comes out of the middle of the terminal part of the hook. Even though not clearly visible on the picture, I suspect that the chaetae might also have a little hood on the concave side of the terminal part of the hook. This type of chaetae would be called "hooded hook with arista". Species with this kind of neurochaetae belong to Acmira (Acesta sensu Strelzov 1973, name change due to homnymy by Hartley 1981).
I recommend you compare your specimens to the description of Aricidea catherinae Laubier, 1967.
with best wishes,
Michael

Dear all,
I was wondering if someone could help me with the identification of these worms found at the Hardangerfjord at a depth of about 200 meters. We are not familiar with this area, so for now we identified them as Aricidea (Strelzovia) cf. suecica. I hope that the quality of the send pictures are good enough for identification.
Best Wishes,
Angela
