Good news update (except for those now asleep on the other side of the planet)
If you haven't looked still about 1.5 hours before access to the live video of perhaps a new species is gone forever :-)
Currently back at -2:32:00 or thereabouts and there's seemingly always about 4 hours of back video available.

The Okeanos Explorer ROV has just come across a fantastic big white polynoid cruising along by itself deep on Maro Ridge, Hawaii. If you go to their video stream you can shift back in time in the video stream and see it live. Be quick - look in the next hour or so. The video quality is superb.
