Dear Annelid lovers,
ForBio - the Scandinavian Research School in Biosystematics - is organizing (or co-organizing) several courses in the coming months. Some of them could be significant for you or your students, like the Marine Annelids in the Norwegian Sea (Teachers: Natalya Budaeva, Maria Capa, Christer Erséus, Conrad Helm, Arne Nygren, Torsten Struck). But there are also other non- taxon based options that are relevant, such as the Philosophy of Biological Systematics (Teacher: Kirk Fitzhugh), Introduction to Bioinformatics for Biosystematics (Teachers: Johan Nylander<https://bils.se/staff/johan-nylander/> and Hans-Henrik Fuxelius), Basics of Taxonomy - describing, illustrating and communicating biodiversity (Teachers: Matz Berggren, Oliver Coleman, Tomas Cedhagen, Gabor Lövei and Dimitrios Koureas), Species Concepts and Species Delimitation (Teachers: Kevin de Queiroz, Paschalia Kapli and Joan Pons), and Phylogenomics (Teachers: Torsten Struck and Patrick Kück) among others.

Please have a look at the list and links below and visit the ForBio website if you want to become a ForBio member/associate.
You can also contact me (or any of the other ForBio coordinators) if you want further information about courses or ForBio.

Have a nice weekend!
Best, Maria
