Dear Colleagues,
On behalf of The International Society for Invertebrate Morphology,
Lomonosov Moscow State University, The Paleontological Institute of Russian
Academy of Sciences and The ICIM4 Organizing Committee, we cordially invite
you to attend the 4th International Congress on Invertebrate Morphology
(ICIM4) to be held in August 18–23, 2017 in Moscow, Russia.
*The Congress*
The Congress, which is the premier international gathering of researchers
in the field of the morphology of invertebrates, will be hosted by Lomonosov
Moscow State University. The main focus of the 4th Congress will be
on synthesis
of classical morphology with advances in molecular taxonomy and phylogeny,
evolutionary developmental biology; investigations on structure of
different groups of invertebrates, in particular, parasites; the problem of
miniaturization and the evolution of larval forms; modern achievements in
the field of functional morphology and paleontology. Special attention will
be paid to modern approaches and methods of morphological and evolutionary
studies.
Congress symposia will be assigned to four broad topics
(1) Recent advances in functional morphology;
(2) Special invertebrate morphology;
(3) Evolutionary theories;
(4) Advanced Microscopy and Morphology.
Researchers, faculty members as well as students are welcome to apply for

Participants will get an opportunity to submit short articles to be
published in the “Invertebrate Zoology” journal

Please note: For residents of Russia a subsidy will be made available
through Russian Federal research funding. Details will be provided in the
online registration form.
