i am interested in determining what kinds of studies are being done currently
in the genus arabidopsis and in the family brassicaeceae/cruciferae. also
whether work has been done on interspecific hybrids of arabidopsis. also on
seed/tissue/dna sources for other species of arabidopsis besides thaliana.
with respect to brassica, i am current on chloroplast, mtdna, rdna studies,
especially of oleraceae, rapus, etc. in brassica , mostly i want to know
whether flowering genes, cell wall genes, other developmentally interesting
genes are under investigation. partly this is for comparison with studies
of morphological evolution in the family and its outgroups.
