Can anyone out there answer this question?
What fairly major protein of approximate MW 40kDa is found in the soluble
protein fraction after grinding Arabidopsis leaves in a buffer containing
1% v/v Triton X-100? Apart from RUBISCO large and small subunits, this is the
strongest band on an SDS-PAGE gel stained with Coomassie Blue.
Any guesses?
There's also another fairly strong band of around 50kDa which we haven't
identified - suggestions for candidates for that would also be welcome.
Thanks.
