RNA from siliques

Brian,
I also got a rusty color contaminant in silique
RNA preps with the phenol/LiCl method.  I switched
to guanidinium thyocyanate/ CsCl and got clean RNA.

Hope this helps.
P.S. The rusty contaminant hung in the wells of
agarose gels and the RNA still ran fine.
