Assistant/Associate Professor.  Plant Molecular Genetics.  University of
Connecticut.  The Department of Molecular and Cell Biology invites
applications for an anticipated tenure-track position with a target
starting date of September 1, 1993.  The successful candidate should
have significant postdoctoral experience, and will be expected to
establish a strong, extramurally funded research program in any area of high
plant molecular genetics.  Additionally, the successful candidate will be
expected to participate in graduate training and in the teaching program
of the Department.  Applicants should submit a curriculum vitae, reprints
or preprints of major publications, a statement summarizing research
accomplishments and future plans, and have at least three letters of
recommendation sent to:  Dr. Arthur Chovnick, Chair, Plant Molecular
