     Position Announcement: Du Pont Agricultural Products

     We're looking for a Ph.D.-level scientist who will take a biochemical
     and/or genetic approach to investigating herbicide action and
     selectivity.  A  plant physiologist with a strong background in
     genetics, biochemistry, or analytical chemistry would be ideal.  
     Initial areas of study could include analysis of mode of action of
     new herbicides, identification of metabolic targets for rational
     design approaches, and evaluation of potential resistance mechanisms
     in model and target organisms. 

     The successful candidate will be interested in participating in a
     multi-disciplinary research team and in applying modern techniques to 
     the discovery of novel approaches to crop protection.
