New transformed stocks - ABRC

             NEW SEED STOCKS - ABRC AT OHIO STATE


     The ABRC at Ohio State now has the following seed stocks
available for distribution.  Included are visible mutants from the
Feldmann seed transformation populations - phenotypic classes 
late flowering, embryo defective and early flowering.  Description
of the seed transformation protocol used to generate these line
was provided in the recent message from Dr. Feldmann on this
network. Seeds of these lines are being sent to the Nottingham
Centre. The quantity of seeds received is small for some lines,
and continued availability will depend on demand. We expect to
receive the remainder of the visible mutants within the next few
weeks. As soon as this occurs, notices will be posted to the
newsgroup.

NOTE: THE EMBRYO DEFECTIVE PHENOTYPES OF THIS SET OF STOCKS HAVE
NOT BEEN RECONFIRMED BY ADDITIONAL SCREENING.
