POSTDOCTORAL RESEARCH ASSISTANT
IN PLANT MOLECULAR BIOLOGY

Applications are invited for a 3 year postdoctoral research post, 
funded by the AFRC Plant Molecular Biology Programme.  The 
postdoctoral scientist will join an active team investigating male 
sterility in Arabidopsis thaliana.  The overall aims of the project 
are the mapping and cloning of genes involved in male 
gametophyte development.  

Candidates should have experience in molcular biology and 
knowledge of plant genetics, plant transformation using 
Agrobacterium tumefaciens  and/or DNA sequencing.  The salary 
will be on the RA 1A scale.
