Ph.D. AND POSTDOCTORAL STUDIES IN PLANT BIOLOGY
UNIVERSITY OF WISCONSIN
A new training program for graduate students and postdoctoral
fellows, funded by the DOE/NSF/USDA Collaborative Research in
Plant Biology Program, is accepting applications. The focus of
this group is use of a model higher plant, Arabidopsis thaliana,
for research in plant signal transduction. The research plan has
flexibility to accommodate candidates with different backgrounds
and interests. The purpose is to provide broad,
multi-disciplinary training in genetics/molecular biology,
biochemistry, electrophysiology, and anatomy/immunocytochemistry.
The 12 participating faculty include: Amasino, Barton, Becker,
Bleecker, Evert, Fernandez, Keegstra, Kung, Masson, Sussman,
Vierstra, and Willis. Interested students/postdocs should apply
