Plant Molecular Biology


Postdoctoral positions are available immediately to study plant cell signal
transduction.  Current projects include studies of the effect of the hormone
abscisic acid on protein phosphorylation, and the isolation of abscisic acid
insensitive mutants via T-DNA-mediated gene tagging.

The Institute is located on the main campus of Academia Sinica, in the east
suburb of Taipei City.  Annual salary is approximately USD 22,000, with
additional health insurance and housing subsidies.  Fluency in English is the
only requirement for effective communication at work.
