My name is Reggie Gaudino and I am a postdoc in the lab of Dr.craig
Pikaard. We study the regulation of RNA polymerase I, and regulation of
rRNA transcription. I am currently studying the role of intergenic spacer
sequences in regulating rRNA transcription. The problem is that I need a
non-rRNA or ribosomal protein gene to use as an S1 probe to control for RNA
loading differences. Running formaldehyde-RNA gels is really a pain, plus
it doesn't really control for the S1 experiment. I would be interested in
using the Actin, ACP,or tubulin genes. If any one could either tell me where
I could find these genomic clones, or send them to me :-) I would be
greatly appreciative. My e-mail address is Gaudino at wustlb.wustl.edu
