NEW SEED STOCKS FROM THE ARABIDOPSIS
BIOLOGICAL RESOURCE CENTER AT OHIO STATE

		- AND ACCESSING IMAGES OF THESE VIA AIMS GOPHER

We have finished the characterization of a number of new
stocks from the Redei Collection. Included are new mutant alleles
and a few mapping stocks. Information on these stocks can be
obtained from AIMS, including photographic images, in most cases.

If you do not have X-Window access to AIMS but are connected
to Internet, the images can be obtained from the new AIMS Gopher.
The pathway to the AIMS Gopher is: Other Gophers and Information
Servers > North America > USA > Michigan > Michigan State
University > Information for the MSU Community > MSU College and
Departmental Information > MSU College of Engineering > Department
of Computer Science > AIMS. If you do not have Gopher, the
necessary programs can be obtained by anonymous ftp from the
directory /pub/gopher of the host genesys.cps.msu.edu. The README
file of this directory contains complete intructions for acquiring
and setting up Gopher so that you can obtain photographic image
files.

STOCK NUMBERS AND DESCRIPTIONS.

NOTE: The following abbreviation and special symbols are used:
* = unknown locus number or undesignated allele number.
UL = Unknown Laibach line as background.
The order of mutagens corresponds to the order of alleles produced
by the application of the given mutagen.
