I am conducting in situ experiments with polyclonal
antibodies raised to the Proliferating Cell Nuclear
Antigen (PCNA) from Brassica napus. In other eukaryotes,
PCNA has been shown to be located in the nucleus where
it performs a function in DNA replication. I have encountered
difficulty detecting the antigen in tissue sections fixed
under a variety of conditions and embedded in different
media. In order to address the problem at hand I require
an antibody for use as a positive control.More specifically,
I require antibodies (monoclonal or polyclonal) directed
to plant histones or any plant nuclear protein. If anyone
has such an antibody and is willing to part with a small
sample please contact me. I would greatly appreciate
the help.
