PCR - multiple bands

Dear Ashleigh & networkers,
 
To resolve the problem of single isolated PCR bands regenerating into 
multiple bands, the simplest obvious solutions are to try higher 
annealing temperatures and/or use a "hot start" protocol in your re-
amplification reaction.  But your primers may be the real culprits.
