Assistant Professor of Plant Biology/Developmental Geneticist

The University of California at Davis invites applications and nominations for an Assistant Professor of Plant Biology.  This is a full-year, tenure track posit
ion in the Section of Plant Biology within the newly reorganized Division of Biological Sciences and includes an appointment in the Agricultural Experiment Stat
ion.  A Ph.D. (or equivalent) is required and postdoctoral experience is desirable.  Candidates must have an outstanding record of acheivement in research and w
ill be expected to develop a strong research program in plant biology with preference for an individual using the approaches of developmental genetics to invest
igate problems in morphogenesis.  Successful candidates will be expected to teach at the undergraduate and graduate level and participate fully in the teaching 
and advising programs coordinated by the Division of Biological Sciences and Graduate Studies.
