A University of Wales studentship is available immediately to study ethylene
transduction pathways in mutants of Arabidopsis thaliana. The studentship
is tenable in Dr. AR Smith and Prof MA Halls' laboratory in Aberystwyth and
is for 3 years. The studentship would suit a person with a good degree in
plant biology/physiology/biochemistry and will involve techniques such as
protein purification, in vitro 32P studies, and the use of both antibodies
and inhibitors. Email inquiries should be send to Dr. AR Smith
(ars at aber.ac.uk).
