                   POSTDOCTORAL RESEARCH ASSISTANT

          A Postdoctoral Research Assistant Position is available
          IMMEDIATELY to work on the molecular genetics of feedback
          regulation of the branched-chain amino acid biosynthetic
          pathway in Arabidopsis. The research will involve cloning,
          sequencing and molecular characterization of mutant genes
          and their wild-type alleles from a wide array of
          genetically- and bichemically-characterized Arabidopsis
          mutants defective in feedback regulation. Applicants should
          be experienced in cDNA library construction, PCR techniques,
          DNA sequencing, construction of plant expression vectors and
          transformation techniques. Applicants should submit a
