Plant Mol. Biol. position available

     B.S./M.S. level biologist to identify and characterize genes that 
     encode components of signal transduction pathways in plants. Molecular 
     techniques will be utilized to clone genes and to determine their 
     structure and identify. The physiological role of proteins that have 
     been identified will also be elucidated. Experience with standard 
     techniques of molecular biology and biochemistry is required, 
     including cloning, Southern and Northern blot analysis, DNA 
     sequencing, and PCR. Experience working with either plants or yeast 
     preferred.
