Cheaper Vancomycin?

	I am seeking a source for cheaper vancomycin. 

	I need it for transformation of arabidopsis to kill the agro (500mg/L). It is very costly if one does this in a large scale. Most of the companies sell it at ~$90/gm. Is there any alternative to vancomycin? 

	The strain I am using is C58(pGV2260), which is carbenicillin resistant, and Cefataxime is toxic to arabidopsis. 

Any suggestion?
