Full Mosaic Ordering Available on AIMS

             FULL MOSAIC ORDERING NOW AVAILABLE ON AIMS
 
      A full Mosaic ordering interface for ABRC and NASC stocks
 is now available in AIMS.  It can be accessed from the AIMS
 Mosaic home page (url http://genesys.cps.msu.edu:3333/). You 
 simply click on "AIMS Menu," and when the resulting AIMS page 
 appears, click on "AIMS Mosaic Ordering System."  
 
      The first ordering page, which appears as a result of the 
 above sequence, can be used for examining order histories of 
 stocks or logging in for placement of orders.  You can enroll 
 in AIMS on this page, and send comments to AIMS- Manager.  Don't 
 forget that your AIMS login ID and AIMS password are both up to
 first ten letters of your last name (in all lower case).  Once
 these have been entered, you just click on "Submit login" to bring 
 up the stock ordering page. On this page you simply enter stock 
 numbers of stocks you wish to order into the stock number window, 
 and then click on "Submit order" to register your order with ABRC 
 or NASC.  The results of your order will then appear.
 
      Ordering via Telnet and X-Windows are also available via the 
 AIMS Mosaic.  The X-Window version is even more flexible than the 
 Mosaic version, although it does require that you be running 
 X-Windows on your side. 
 
      The AIMS Mosaic has hypertext links to the other Arabidopsis 
 WWW servers, including NASC, AAtDB and Weeds World .  It is also 
 linked directly to the NCBI Web server.  We plan to create Mosaic 
 access to the entire AIMS database, so that stock information and 
 other AIMS data can be accessed via Mosaic.
