Title:
RESEARCH ASSISTANT - full time 40 hrs/week.
---salary up to $20,000 (based on experience) plus benefits. 

Job Description:
Major Duties:Operate and use automated and manual DNA sequencers
and related equipment.Responsibilities include DNA isolation, 
Cloning, PCR,Sequencing and other techniques associated with 
DNA sequencing and DNA fragment analysis.

Occasional Duties:
Ordering laboratory materials,cleaning glassware, autoclaving, 
making stock solutions, and bookkeeping.


Educational Qualifications: 
Bachelors or Masters degree in Biology, Biochemistry, Genetics or 
related discipline.

Work Experience and Training: 
Training in DNA sequencing, PCR and related recombinant 
DNA techniques. Experience in sequence analysis and 
computers is a plus.
